Job: Specimen Processing Technician - Night Shift

We are currently hiring for a Specimen Processing Technician.

This is a HIGH VOLUME data entry position. The specimen prep technician is responsible for the receipt of biological specimens (icluding but not limited to bodily fluids such as blood, urine, saliva, stool, etc) into the department, their proper entry into the company's computer system, the preparation of samples for analytical testing, the distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area, and archiving specimens after testing.

SCHEDULE:
6:OO PM - 2:30 AM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY WITH ROTATING SATURDAYS

MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE COPY OF HS DIPLOMA OR GED

Minimum age requirement of 18.

Must be a high school graduate, or have achieved equivalency through GED exam or other means.

Good reading, writing and math abilities are required.

Oral and written communication skills sufficient to understand written and spoken instructions in English.

Good organization skills are also required.

Typing/keyboarding skills of minimum 25 wpm, demonstrated by completion of a typing/keyboarding test.
