Jobing Description
We are looking for a person to participate in the on-going treatment of clients including medication supervision, health education, assessment, case management, and provision of therapeutic services; provides staff orientation and training; and participates in the planning, development and implementation of services. Supervises other professional and paraprofessional staff team members in the provision of care and services.

Skills / Requirements
Possession of a current Registered Nurse License from the State of Arizona and one year experience in a behavioral health or related human service setting.

Ability to maintain and protect client confidentiality, both written and spoken.
Knowledge and ability to demonstrate adherence to cultural competence standards.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Able to counsel clients and families.
Able to make supervisory, milieu management and staffing decisions that maximize client safety.
Able to complete assessment, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation in a multidisciplinary setting.
Demonstrate understanding of the importance of time management with regard to clinical records, reports and documentation forms.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to project a professional demeanor when representing the agency.
Ability to meet MVR requirements of agency insurance carrier.
Ability to become fully certified in accordance with DPS fingerprinting requirements.

Tasks:
Complete Seclusion and Restraints Training prior to direct client care.
Become CPI, CPR and First Aid certified.
Ensures strict confidentiality and protection of client rights.
Presents a professional image to clients and the community.
Provides cultural competent client care.
Complete all required documentation thoroughly, accurately and timely in accordance to established guidelines, standards and procedures.
Provides leadership and supervision to ensure quality patient/client care throughout the PHF Programs.
Participates in weekly supervision of behavioral health tech staff, as assigned.
Assists Nurse Manager in annual evaluation process of behavioral health techs and paraprofessional staff.
Serves as a positive role model to staff team members for leadership, development and client advocacy.
Administers medications as directed by medical staff in accordance with policies and procedures.
Monitors medication effects, documents all required information and communicates findings to the medical staff.
Maintains and manages medications and related supplies in a safe and secure manner according to established standards, guidelines, procedures, statutory and regulatory requirements
Provides consultation and education to clients, staff and family members on medication actions, side effects and proper health and nutrition habits.
Ensures that all staff adheres to SEABHS and facility policies and procedures and all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Orders medications from providing pharmacy according to authorization process.
Maintains client charts and records according to established standards, guidelines and procedures.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of client�s treatment and discharge plans.
Provides medical, clinical, triage and crisis intervention to individuals served by the PHF programs.
Obtain medical histories, and assists medical staff in physical examination of patients. May draw lab samples.
Attends and participates in all required staff meetings, team staffings, and inservice training.
Facilitates inservice training sessions as required.
Provides orientation and training to other staff members throughout SEABHS, as assigned.
Responsible for PHF campus.
