Job: Bell Captain

The Marriott University Park is a luxurious hotel in Tucson with 9 floors, 233 rooms and 17 suites.

We are currently seeking Bell Captain at the Marriott University Park to assist in these Responsibilities:

• Calls Bell Persons to escort guests to rooms or perform related services
• Determines work schedules and keeps time records
• Inspects workers for neatness and uniform dress
• Instructs workers in procedures regarding request from guests, utilizing knowledge of hotel facilities and local merchants and attractions
• Hires, trains, and disciplines as needed all bell staff employees
• Ensures proper handling and storage of all guest luggage
• Ensures that front doors are accessible and not blocked at all times
• Knows and enforces all hotel and company safety and emergency procedures
• Attends and participates in all monthly front desk meetings
• Ensures the flag is raised, lowered and handled properly
• May report suspicious behavior of patrons to hotel security personnel
• May pick up and bundle guests’ laundry for outside cleaning service
• May perform duties of subordinates
• Performs other related duties as required

• Position that requires to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Lift and carry things like luggage and bags of golf clubs
• Plan the work of others
