Summary: Responsible for coordinating all AWLS programs and operations. Responsible for coordinating Education Sables Chapter Youth Program grants and responsible for development and implementation of other Education Sables programs and Sables activities as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. * Provides weekly written reports to the Director during summer AWLS operations * Works as team leader with AWLS staff & coordinates operations activities among AWLS staff * Directs AWLS Office Clerk personnel * Assists in the selection and hiring of all AWLS seasonal personnel and in providing written employee performance evaluations * Responsible for oversight, coordination and reporting of AWLS employee paperwork that is forwarded to Human Resources including Form I-9, travel reimbursements, health form management with nurse, drug testing, and payroll. * Assist the Director in conducting AWLS summer staff training including 15-passenger van safety driving using the staff training manual * Responsible for keeping the AWLS staff training manual current * Responsible for oversight of AWLS retail sales including beginning and end of season inventories, deposits of receipts and tracking of all sales and providing a weekly report to SCI accounting * Coordinates permitting and communications with U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Park Service, Teton County and Jackson Chamber of Commerce * completes Forest Service Reports * Submits monthly water samples to Teton County and submits annual nitrate test to EPA * Develops and submits a recommended AWLS operations budget to the Director * Coordinates AWLS program information with SCIF Education staff * Responsible for managing all financial transactions for AWLS and providing weekly reports to SCI accounting department with copies to the Director checkbook register, copy of checks, deposits and copies of deposits and petty cash accounting * Coordinates the purchase of all AWLS seasonal supplies and advises the Director in the purchase of equipment * Responsible for organizing all necessary education materials, participant files, equipment, retail sales inventory to ship to AWLS via vans and manages this information at AWLS during summer session workshops * Responsible for coordinating information and documents with the University in granting college credit to AWLS participants * Responsible for coordinating the planning and writing of each workshop detailed schedule including courses, recreation activities, meals, field trips, etc. and communicating that to AWLS staff * Responsible for planning and coordinating program implementation with federal and state agencies and other guest speakers/instructors * Coordinates AWLS program development throughout the year * Coordinates and facilitates maintenance activities with the maintenance supervisor /caretaker - scheduling routine maintenance and specific maintenance projects year round * Coordinates all daily summer operations of the facility and program * Coordinates menu development with the kitchen staff and the purchase of food supplies * Provides direct instruction in National Archery in the Schools Program and shotgun, rifle, muzzle loader and pistol * Coordinates all activities related to the Chapter Youth Program Grant including managing all applications for committee review and providing direct assistance to chapters in developing youth programs, as assigned * Assist in coordination and implementation of all Education Sables programs and Sables activities as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: * At least a Bachelor Degree in science, education or related field a must; * Must have CPR and First Aid current certifications prefer EMT certification * Must have NRA Instructor certifications prefer multiple areas of certification rifle, pistol, shotgun & muzzle loader * Must have National Archery in the Schools Program BAIT certification * Experience instructing outdoor education programs in a residential environment * Experience working in and coordinating operations of a residential education program facility including maintenance, kitchen, administrative, programs and customer service Qualifications: * Demonstrates ability to make finance decisions, track finances and read /comprehend financial statements * Prefer wild land fire fighter knowledge, skills and experience * Operate company vehicle; clean driving record; able to be covered by SCIs vehicle insurance - Prefer CDL qualification * Math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percent, etc. * Able to: interpret written instructions and schedules * Lift/unload/move/distribute light materials (10-30 lbs) * Ability to operate office equipment * Ability to operate outdoor heavy equipment tractor, skid loader, etc * Understand and able to use Windows XP computer operating system * Proficiency with Microsoft Word , Excel Spreadsheets and Power Point Skills / Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:

Important Notes
Based at Safari Club International Foundation Headquarters in Tucson, Arizona and will work from American Wilderness Leadership School (Jackson, Wyoming) during summers.
Pay: from $36,400/year
